Since the arrival of ChatGPT back in late 2022, we have seen an explosion of interest in AI. There has been an ongoing discussion and debate around AI’s potential and what role it can play in society for good and bad. One area we’ve seen AI become a disruptor is journalism where there has been a rise in misinformation due to AI generative content technologies. However, AI has been seen as a tool to help with manual newsroom tasks that would otherwise consume a lot of time for a journalist.
